The rules
What goes on in here
One page. It is pinned by the door, repeated at the tables and applied by whoever is on the floor, with no exceptions made for anybody.
At the door
Who gets in
- Eighteen and over, the whole building, grill and verandah included.
- Photo identification may be asked for at the door or at a table, and refusing means leaving.
- Whoever is on the floor can refuse entry without giving a reason for it.
- Assistance animals are welcome; other animals wait in the ute with the windows down.
At the table
What flies and what does not
- Counters belong to the store, count points and are worth nothing in money.
- Money passed between players ends the hand, and the second time it ends the night.
- Personal packs are not dealt from at any table.
- The table boss can move players about to keep the tables even.
- Score pads go in the bin at close, and the next night starts from zero.
In the room
Everybody else's night
- Phones on silent. The verandah is right there and the fans are louder than you.
- No photographs of another table unless you have asked the people at it.
- Service stops for anyone who is clearly done, and arguing about it makes it final.
- We will ring for a lift at any hour we are open, and it costs you nothing to accept.
